1st light observatory

This is the 1st picture I took from my new observatory. It is an exposure of 1hr15min of M27. There were many high clouds, and the wind was blowing quite hard. Apart from the initial autoguiding problems I was able to make 5 subs of 15min @ ISO800 resulting in this picture. See the crop with more details below.

M27 Dumbbell Nebula

The moon interfered a lot with my exposures, but I was able to shoot some pictures of M27. This is the result. It is 85x60sec at ISO800. Stacked with Deepskystacker and postprocessed in Photoshop. With the help of an astroforum member, "Orioner", I was able to get a better result with a special astronomical software filter for Photoshop.

M27 Dumbbell nebula (again, now much better)

Here's M27, the dumbbell nebula again.
It's a nebula around an exploded star, it lights up because of the radiating star in the middle.
The distance is about 1250 light years.
This picture is a composition of 60x 1Min on ISO800, shot with an eos400d in prime focus of a Newtonian telescope with aperture of 200mm and f=1000mm.

M27 Dumbbell nebula

This is the M27 Dumbbell nebula in the starsign Vulpecula (small fox). It is a planetary nebula. It was discovered by Messier in 1764 and the first of its kind ever discovered.
It is 1250 thousand light years away from us.
