Finally! It starts to work
Almost ready, running the last test now!
The analysers are working ok now, after many repairs and modifications.
Desired oxygen level reached
It was a lot of hard work, but we got this old baby from the USA going again!

Almost ready with the kiln
Here is the installation, after 1 week of many hours of work it starts to work properly.
Here is the gaspanel that makes the right nitrogen oxygen mix for the process.
We are fighting for kilnpressure, and are finding many leaks and closing them. At the end we must reach about 10mBar, it is 7 now, so there are still many holes inside the system.

Rogow
After working very hard on the sunday Mirek and his guys picked me up to a trip to the Arboretum near Rogow.
The large pond in the Arboretum.
A green frog.
Nice Polish forest.
Typical plants that grow on the bottom of the forests in Poland.
Seed cathing box.
Boxes are put underneath the trees to catch their seeds.
Me, Pawel and Mirek
A big anthill!
The Magnolia

We go for dinner in this nice roadside Polish restaurant! It is like the wild west (but in this case: east)
Many old stuff inside this restaurant!
And more....
And even more old stuff!
Jarek is not a happy man! He drives a nice BMW, has a new girlfriend, but cannot drink beer because he has to drive.
And a few more beers with Pawel and Mirek before we are kicked out (closing time.)

Polish beers
Yesterday we ate a little bit too much, so there's not a lot of room for beer. I had to work hard today however to get the power control working, and was a little bit thirsty, so decided for the -middle way- solution:
Mawe Tyskie (not douze)
And a nightcap: dog in the fog.
Very nice beer, tastes somewhat similar to English Ale (which I like a lot).

Real Polish meal
This evening we were invited for a real Polish meal in a very nice Polish restaurant in the woods. Here we have the bread with the fat-sauce, tastes very good.
And of course, Zurek soup for starter (what else?)
Main course: Pig leg! This was cooked/baked very well with honey and mustard sauce, tastes great.
-before
All are fighting to eat the pig-leg away.
-after
Dessert! Applepie with icecream.
Some are a little bit worried if there is still room for this.....
Finished.
In Poland again!

M106, NGC4217 and NGC4284
There was a very bright almost full moon last night. But I decided to go "deepsky" anyway because I wanted to test my UHC-s filter.
5 min ISO800 exposures (autoguided) were much too long: full blue picture. I went back to 2min autoguided, this was more or less acceptable, but at the end still too long: next time with this moon 1min is max at ISO800.
Visible on the right is M106, a spiral galaxy. Also NGC4284 is very faintly visible. On the left is NGC4217.
With photoshop I was able to filter some moonlight out, but still too much.
All exposures were 24x2min ISO800 autoguided

New location of our company (again)
We moved to another building again with our department, this is an overview of our office with Pieters tokina lens
Kars is afraid that he cannot see it anymore, so he decided to use 4 widescreen monitors from now on.
And we have a nice production hall in the back that we can use for testing equipment and other stuff. It even has a big crane for lifting equipment.
Oops, Pieter caught me. (Fred has no time, he is very busy with his work).
