The kiln is running, we celebrate with good Chinese Oolong Tea!

The kiln is running, so we decided to celebrate it with some fine Chinese tea.
Here you see the tea being prepared the Chinese way:

They first put the pot with hot water on the stove (with flame). To the right is a kind of double-layered dish. First they clean the small glass teacups, the teapot and the glass teacan with the cooking water. After that they put the fresh tea in the teapot and pour the cooking water over the tea, it must also run over the outside of the pot. It doesn't matter, the double-layered dish hold the spilled water. They then put the filter on the glass pot, and pour the tea in it, so it is without tea leaves. From there they pour the glass tea can into the small glass cups. And now and then the girl comes back to pour extra water in the teapot and pour it back in our cups from the bigger glass can. We also had some mooncake on the side (because it's almost moon festival). This is the Chinese version of "coffee with cake" (koffie met gebak).
This is me enjoying a real good cup of tea (in the back are the boxes with moon cakes):
