Last night the the first clear night in weeks, so I surely wanted to make use of that. I phothographed a bright galaxy in Leo: NGC2903. It is 25 million lightyears distance from us. This is a composition of 16x10min@ISO800, resulting into a 2hr40min exposure.
I photographed this galaxy (and the smaller NGC2916 in the left bottom) with my 200mmF5 Newtonian and my Eos400d in primary focus. Autoguiding was done with my 90mmF10 refractor fitted with the ICX-424 b/w modded webcam. Nice result I much say, you can clearly see the structure of the galaxy.
