Typical Dutch food iso Polish food!

After eating typical Polish food last week (flaky, zurek, pirogy together with all sorts of cabbage) I wanted something typical Dutch this evening: meatballs (gehaktballen).

Here they are in the pan with some laurel, thyme and onions..........

Here there's one on the plate together with pandan rice and braised beans.

Flying back from Poznan to Pila

Here I'm sitting on Poznan airport, a very quiet airport, with only a few flights a day. Same as Eindhoven airport.

Here is the ATR plane that flew me from Poznan to Frankfurt, from there I went with an Avro airplane (same as to Munich) back to Brussels.

Working on the kiln......

Here the people are working on the kiln, there are still many things to do, but now they know exactly what to do and how.

Here the people are building the operator control room.......

And here you see the kiln, left bottom we put the control panel. The electrical subcontractor is installing the cable channels and then they will start with the cabling of the kiln.

This morning we had snow in Pila

This morning we had snow in Pila, but it already stopped.

Very nice beer: Okocim!

This is my favourite (lager) beer I ever drank in Poland: Okocim. I like it better than Zywiec (average) and Tyskie (good). But I rate Okocim: very good!

Brands kiln

Today we put the thyristor control panel on the kiln platform. Was not very easy. Downstairs you see Arek directing his people during the lift-maneuver.

Pila

The town of Pila is not too bad, many restaurants, quality is average-good. Hotel is also ok, including the breakfast buffet in the morning. The people in the factory are skilled and helpful.
Here is a view outside the hotel, far away you see the church that wakes me every morning at 600hrs with it's loud bell.

Trip to Pila Poland

The strange thing about Pila is that it is "Polish" but with some very thin German sauce. It is not pure Polish as our factory in Skierniewice.
This is the Avro plane that flew me from Brussels to Munich, from there with a Bombardier turboprop to Poznan. What was really nice were the alps when the plane left from Munich airport. You could see them very well.

My LCR meters are being calibrated again!

Today I visited a company in Belgium that has high expertise with calibrating HP LCR meters.....There's much more to it than just connect a few capacitors and verify the values.........

And this weekend we visited Marions former dancing teacher, she's going to play the music on our wedding party. So busybusy. I applied last week for my birth certificate in Eindhoven where I was born, but got the one of my nephew by mistake. On friday I finally got the good one in my mail!

75th year anniversary of our dancing school

Here we are at the 75th year anniversary of our dancing school. I'm feeling a little bit better, but now I think I gave the virus I had this week to Marion. We didn't dance much this evening, but there was a lot to see. Like the couple in the youtube clip below, Euvgenia Parakhina and her partner Peter Bosveld, multiple dutch champion......and 7th on the world championship. It was very crowded, but sometimes I could catch a glimp of them with my camera........
